Once more unto the breach dear friends….after Monday’s hugely successful evening introducing women to German longsword and I.33 sword & buckler (see post here), Wednesday arrived quickly and with some trepidation as we had 20 ladies booked in (+53%) and the sure knowledge that the hall would be absolutely at capacity when the TLA members who came along to help out  were included in the count. As the images show…a busy, focused, and noisy session which, at times, felt like the clamour of a medieval battlefield!

Once more, lots of smiles and promises of coming along to future sessions was the best feedback we could hope for (although the 5* reviews on our Facebook page are also nice)!

At both sessions, we have had enquiries for clubs closer to attendees; where possible we have provided clubs details of those we know in the region.

The next session for GAGAS (Give A Girl A Sword) will be held on the 6th September 2017. This session appears to be full but if you are interested, please get in contact.

Normal training sessions will resume on the 11th September 2017 with those starting out on their HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) undertaking the 6-8 week induction.
